Marking Scheme - Each question will be 1 mark. There will be negative markings. 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong response.
CUCET 2023 Syllabus
There is no prescribed syllabus for the exam. General questions based on the English language, mathematical ability, general awareness, analytical skills, and reasoning will be asked. Buy a preparation book and practice from it. For the subject-related paper, students must have good knowledge of the subjects they have studied in the qualifying exam. The books for the qualifying exam will be sufficient for preparation.
CUCET Exam 2023 Eligibility
There are a total of 14 universities participating in the CUCET 2023 exam. Each university offers admission to UG, PG, and research programs. And the eligibility criteria for each university are different. Students are advised to go through the eligibility criteria of the university they are applying for.
General Eligibility Criteria for Various Programs
UG Courses
Candidates should have passed the class 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and/or Biology. The minimum passing marks must be 50% for General category candidates and 45% for SC/ST category candidates.
PG Courses
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in the same field as he/she is interested in doing the PG course. A degree in some other related course will also be fine.
Ph.D. Courses
A master’s degree in any stream with at least 55% marks for General category candidates, 50% marks for OBC category candidates, and 45% marks for SC/ST/PwD category candidates.
Those who have qualified UGC-CSIr JRF, GATE, NBHM, or any other national-level exam for research are not required to appear for CUCET. However, they are to register for the exam.

Registration
- Visit the official website - https://cucetexam.in.
- Click on the link for the application.
- Enter the details such as the name of the candidate, email ID, mobile number, date of birth, and password.
- After successful registration, candidates will receive the application ID in their registered email ID and mobile number.
- The application Id and password are the login details. Keep them safe.
Completing the Application Form
- After registration, log in using the ID and password.
- Enter your personal details, such as your father’s name, gender, category, nationality, etc.
- Also, provide academic details such as the board's name, passing year, marks obtained, percentage marks, etc.
- Details such as GATE score (if applicable), address, exam center, etc., are also required to be filled in.
- Check all the details carefully and save them from moving to the next step.
Uploading Scanned Images
- Upload the scanned images of your photograph and signature in the space provided.
- After a successful upload, move to the next step.
Course Registration
- Candidates are required to register for the course in three participating universities.

Candidates must log in using their application ID and password to access their results. The result has the score obtained by the candidates and the qualifying status of the candidate.
