Animation & Multimedia Courses 2022 Pattern & Syllabus
Admission to most of the Animation courses is done on a merit basis as per the marks secured in the qualifying exam (10+2). Some institutes conduct entrance exams where questions are asked from sections - General Knowledge, Drawing Life situations, Character Design, Storytelling through sketching, Skill of visualisation, Information Technology, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
Syllabus
There is no specific syllabus for the entrance test. You must check out the official website of the respective institutes which conducts the entrance exam. Candidates must practice from reasoning, general knowledge, and aptitude books.
Animation & Multimedia Courses 2022 Eligibility
The eligibility for the course is as under:
- Students can pursue this course after completing their 10th standard or equivalent from CBSE Board or any other State board. They should score a minimum of 50% marks to become eligible for admission.
- Students can pursue this course after completing their 12 standard or equivalent from CBSE or any recognised University. They should score a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate to study this course. Most of the top-ranked colleges and institutes set a bar of 45% marks for admission.
- Students who are waiting for their final year result can also apply for this course.
Animation & Multimedia Courses 2022 Application Process
Students should fill out the application form and appear for the aptitude test to get admission into the course. Different colleges follow different steps. The BIT College follows a three-step system to take admission. Applicants are first of all screened at the first stage of the exam. After that screened students are required to take an aptitude test which is followed by an interview of the qualified candidates. While in private institutions like Arena and MAAC students can get themselves registered, pay their fees and start taking their classes.
The admission forms of most of the colleges are released in the months of May and June.
