COMEDK UG Exam 2023 Pattern & Syllabus

To get admission to Bachelor of Engineering programs, the COMEDK-UGET 2023 exam is mandatory. And, to appear in this exam in June 2023 (the official date is yet to be announced), you must get your stats clear as far as the test scheme and related information is concerned.

The below-mentioned exam pattern table will give you crucial information about the exam – the question type, duration of the exam, the total number of marks, marking scheme, etc.

Note: In the event of a tie, the Authority will check the least number of negative responses and might adopt other methods to break the tie.

COMEDK UG Exam 2023 Eligibility

Nationality –

• If you are a resident of India, you are certainly eligible to appear for the COMEDK-UGET 2023 irrespective of the regions or states.

Academic Qualification for Undergraduate Engineering Courses –

• The applicants must have completed a 10+2 Higher Secondary or second PUC or equivalent exam from a recognized Board or University.
• They should have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (for general candidates) and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC students of Karnataka) in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with English as a mandatory subject.
• Candidates must ensure that they have passed the individual subject.
• Mathematics and Physics are compulsory subjects. However, one must have Bio-Technology or Computer Science or Biology or Electronics or Chemistry as one of the optional subjects.

Note: No diploma applicants can take the exam as there is no provision for lateral entry admission.

Academic Qualification for B.Arch Courses –

• The applicants must have completed a 10+2 Higher Secondary or second PUC or equivalent exam from a recognized Board or University.
• Mathematics is a compulsory subject along with other subjects. They should have done a 10+3 Diploma with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (for general candidates) and 45% (for SC/ST/OBC students of Karnataka).
• Admission to the undergraduate architecture program will be based on the NATA score. Candidates must take an aptitude test in 2023 for admission to B.Arch courses.

Note: The Institution will not conduct an entrance test for the architecture course (NATA score 2023 will be considered). Nevertheless, students have to fill in a separate online application form for B.Arch counselling.

COMEDK UG Exam 2023 Application Process

The COMEDK UGET Application Process started from 15th February 2023. Students interested in applying for the state-level exam can fill up the application form through online mode. Before completing the registration process, read through the general instructions carefully. The applicants must not skip any details asked in the registration form, they are mandatory. Also, the mobile number and email ID should be the same throughout the entire admission process.

COMEDK UGET Form Filling Procedure –

• Registration: To access the application form, the candidates must register themselves at www.comedk.org. Provide details, such as name, mobile number, e-mail ID, DOB, etc. and review the details before clicking on the ‘Submit’ button. Details once submitted during the registration process will not be altered or changed later. You will receive a login user ID and password to complete the remaining process.
• Accessing Application Form: Use the login credentials and enter information like personal details, communication details and education details.
• Upload Documents: At this stage, you will need to upload the scanned copies of your photograph, signature, guardian’s signature and unique ID proof. Ensure that the documents meet the prescribed sizes and dimensions.
• Selection of Test Venue: A candidate will get 3 options to select as per his/her preference.
• Exam Fee Payment: Release the application fee (₹ 1,800/-) online using the credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. The fee is non-refundable.
• Form Submission: Take a quick look at the application form before the final submission.

Documents Specifications

• Photograph: The photograph should be in JPEG or JPG format with less than 80kb.
• Signature: The signature should be in JPEG or JPG format with less than 80kb. The dimension has to be 35 x 80 mm.
• Unique ID Proof: The ID proof must be in JPEG or JPG format with less than 80kb. The dimension should be 35 x 80 mm.

COMEDK UGET 2023 Mock Test

Mock tests have an important role to play in helping students assess their weak points. Candidates can access the COMEDK mock test series 2023 on the official website from February 2023 onwards. Practice the mock test series as much as possible and understand the pattern and the types of questions asked in the final examination.

COMEDK 2023 Admit Card

The hall tickets for COMEDK UG 2023 will be issued in May 2023. Candidates can download the hall ticket from the official website. Visit the official website to download the same. Check for the details like the name of the exam center, timings, candidate’s name, and other instructions. Candidates without hall tickets will not be allowed to appear in the entrance test.

COMEDK UGET Result 2023

The officials will announce the COMEDK result 2023 on the official website.  Candidates are advised to visit the COMEDK website, use their user ID and password and get the result right on the screen. The result will carry information such as the TAT (test admission ticket) number, category, DOB, registration number, stream, etc. Download the scorecard for future reference.

COMEDK-UGET Counselling 2023

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will conduct the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) counselling 2023 on its official website. According to officials, the exam authority will publish separate merit lists for the Bachelor in Engineering (BTech) and Bachelor in Architecture (BArch) programs.

Candidates who have been shortlisted for admission can complete the application process by applying to their respective colleges. As part of the application process, candidates will be required to submit the necessary documents, including their COMEDK admit card copy, merit list copy, Classes 10 and 12 degrees, and certificates. Allotment letters will be issued online. Candidates must download the same and report at the allotted college.
