The Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Co-operative Management is a reputed national institute. It was founded in 1964 as CIMCOB (Central Institute of Management for Consumer Business). Later on, it was merged with the ‘National Co-operative College and Research Institute'. It offers the unique programme in management like Co-operative Management, Agriculture Management which are rarely offered by any other Management College/ School.

Students get admission on the basis of their marks in CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ATMA entrance exams.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Post Graduate Diploma in Co-operative Management

• A candidate should have done Graduation from a recognised college/ university.
• He/ She should have served in any co-operative center in the managerial capacity for minimum 3 years.  
• A candidate should have qualified CMAT entrance exam.
• The candidate should be well-versed in the written and spoken English language.
• The candidate should not be more than 45 years of age.

Eligibility for Post Graduate Diploma in Agriculture Management

• A candidate should have done Masters with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks or from a recognised college/university.
• The reserved category candidates are required to have a minimum score of 45% marks.
• There are 3 stages of the exam – Entrance Exam (CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA), Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
