Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM)

The Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management is one of the renowned colleges of Maharashtra. It was established in 1995. It is an arm of the IIT-B. The college offers Executive MBA, MDP (Management Development Programme) and Ph. D programmes at the Postgraduate and Doctoral levels.  

Admissions are done on the basis of CMAT/GATE/GRE/CAT Exam score.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Master in Management Studies

• A candidate should have done Graduation with a minimum score of 60% marks (or CPI 6.5) from a recognized college/ university. The reserved category candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 55% marks to become eligible for admission.

• A candidate should have a valid GMAT/ CMAT/ CAT score.
• The shortlisted candidates are called for personal interview at the college.

Eligibility for Master of Management Studies

• A candidate should have done graduation from a recognized college/institution with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks. The reserved category candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 55% marks to become eligible for admission.
• The candidates studying in the final year can also apply for admission.
• Candidates with M. Tech/ M. Sc. /B.E/ B. Tech degree are considered as the qualifying degrees.
• All applicants should have a valid CAT/ GATE Score.

Eligibility for Ph. D Programmes

• A candidate should have done Masters (in M. Tech/ M. Sc. / M.E/ M. Com/ MCA/ MBA) with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
• Students with B. Tech/ B. E should have a minimum aggregate of 60% marks to become eligible for application.
• The candidate should have a valid score of GATE/CAT/GMAT/UGC CSIR JRF/JET exam.
