Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM)

The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) for 2 years has been introduced in the year 1994 with the motive to develop management professional ready to work at responsible positions in a global environment in the management hierarchy.   • O.P. Jindal scholarship of INR 1,50,000 for second year students

MDI awards five merit scholarships of INR 10, 000/- each to the top five students at the end of the second year

Eligibility

In order to apply to the MBA program of MDI, the candidates should have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both X and XII class examination. The candidate must have minimum 3 year’s Bachelor’s Degree in the 10+2+3 format, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any recognized University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

The Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must have a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. The candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent examination) and completing all requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree by the 30th June, 2018 can also apply, subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by 1st October, 2018; otherwise they may be asked to withdraw from the programme. This would be a provisional admission subjected to the fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria.

Admission process

Online Application

The application should be through the online application, applicants have to apply online by MDI website official https://www.mdi.ac.in. They need to click on the programme they wish to apply for and follow the on-screen instructions given on the website. Students have to make an online payment of ₹ 2596/-(Incl. of 18% GST) using Credit/Debit card/Net Banking.

NOTE – The applicants have to fill single application form for various courses. They just can specify the preference only. However, the preferences of PGPM/PGP-HRM/PGP-IM will be taken only from the shortlisted candidates in the month of January/ February 2018. The shortlisted candidates have to login at MDI website and give their order of preference for courses PGPM/PGP-HRM/PGP-IM as per choice. Candidates need to make that once filled preferences cannot be changed at any stage later on.

Selection Process

Candidates, seeking admission in MDI-Gurgaon has to apply online. They need to appear for the CAT exam, and then the candidates will be short listed on the basis of the details filled in the application form with their CAT scores. Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for further admission process with is Group Discussion and Personal Interviews during February and March of the same year at one of the centres, viz. Bangalore, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai (centres other than Gurgaon are tentative).

Students, who are looking to get admission in MDI-Gurgaon required to appear and qualified in COMMON ADMISSION TEST (CAT) this year.
