Assam CEE 2023 Pattern & Syllabus

It is important for the candidates to know the complete exam pattern of Assam CEE 2023. The exam is conducted for admission to engineering courses, and candidates are tested for the following sections:

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are asked from each section. The question paper will be in English and Assamese languages. The exam is conducted through OFFLINE mode. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours.

Marking Scheme - 4 marks will be allotted for every correct response, and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. Thus, there is a negative marking in the exam.

Assam CEE 2023 Eligibility

Candidates are required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria for appearing in the Assam CEE 2023 exam. Those who are found ineligible will be denied admission. Here are the various eligibility conditions:

Nationality - The candidate should be an Indian national.

Age Limit - The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years, and the maximum age should be 21 years as on 1st August 2023. 3 years of relaxation is provided in the upper age limit for the SC/ST candidates.

Qualification - Candidates should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent level of education in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. The minimum aggregate marks secured in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics should be 50% (45% for the SC category and 40% for the ST category.)

Domicile - Candidates should have a domicile of Assam.

Assam CEE 2023 Application Process

The Assam CEE 2023 application form will be made available online in May 2023. Candidates must fill out the application form within the provided time. They should also ensure they are eligible for the exam before filling out the application form.

Steps to fill the Assam CEE 2023 Application Form -

• Visit the official website of the university - astu.ac.in.
• Look for the Assam CEE 2023 exam link and click it.
• Click the link to fill out the online application form.
• Provide the details asked for to complete the application form. Candidates must enter personal details, contact information, academic qualification, etc. They are also required to select the preferred examination center.
• Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications.
• Check all the information carefully before submitting the application form.
• On submission of the completed application form, the acknowledgment slip will be generated.
• Pay the application fee online via Net banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card or offline via e-challan.

Assam CEE 2023 Admit Card

Assam CEE 2023 admit card was released by Assam Science & Technological University online in July 2023. The hall ticket will be available for download until exam day.  One must note that the admit card is mandatory for making entry to the examination hall. Candidates must log in using their application number and password to download the admit card.

Steps to download Assam CEE admit card

• Visit the official website of ASTU.
• Navigate to the "Download admit card" link.
• Submit your application form number.
• Your Assam CEE Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
• Check all the credentials and details mentioned.
• Download the admit card and preserve it for future reference.
• In case of any discrepancy, immediately inform the admissions authority at ASTU.

Note: Candidates are advised to carefully preserve their Assam CEE admit card. They will be required to carry the document along with them to the test center, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for Assam CEE 2023 exam.

Assam CEE Answer Key 2023

The answer key will be released once the examination is conducted successfully. The answer key helps the candidates in estimating their scores. Various coaching centers will also release the answer key for the Assam CEE 2023 exam.

Assam CEE 2023 Result

The Assam CEE 2023 result will be declared online at the official website. The result comprises marks obtained by the candidates, merit rank, and qualifying status. A category-wise merit list will also be prepared. The result can be accessed using the roll number and date of birth.

Assam CEE 2023 Counselling

Candidates who qualify for the exam must attend the counselling process as per their merit rank. They need to first register for the counselling process. Seats will be allotted as per the preference provided by the candidates, merit rank, and availability of seats. Candidates must report to the allotted college to complete the admission formalities.
