UPSEE BHMCT, the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination for Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, is conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The exam is covered under the UPSEE exam, which is a common exam conducted by the University for admission to its various Undergraduate programmes, Integrated programmes, and dual degree programmes. UPSEE BHMCT 2020 Eligibility
Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions before filling the UPSEE BHMCT application form. The eligibility criteria are as stated under:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 level of education (any discipline) or U.P. Board Intermediate examination or any equivalent examination from a recognised State or Central Board. The minimum aggregate marks in the qualifying examination must be 45% for General category and 40% for SC/ST category.
Candidates must note that direct admission in the second year (Lateral Entry) of the BHMCT course is NOT permissible.
UPSEE BHMCT 2020 Exam Pattern
UPSEE exam is conducted for Eight papers to get admission into different courses. Paper four of the examination is for the BHMCT programmes. The Paper is conducted through the pen-and-paper mode where the candidates are required to mark the correct response in the OMR sheet against the respective question number. There will be no negative marking in the exam. However, a record of incorrect responses will be kept for preparing the merit list in case of a tie.
In case of any ambiguity in the question paper, the English version shall be considered final.

The paper for BHMCT exam will comprise of questions to test the candidates on the following aspects:

UPSEE BHMCT 2020 Application Process
Candidates are required to apply for the UPSEE BHMCT exam through the online mode only via the official website of UPSEE. The application forms must be submitted within the given period of time. The application form is self-explanatory with necessary instructions wherever required. However, here is a detailed process for complete information on the application process:
- Visit the official UPSEE website - https://upsee.nic.in/.
- Click on the link for applying for the UPSEE 2020 Exam.
- Proceed for the registration process and provide details such as name, Father’s name, Mother’s name, domicile, mobile number, address, email ID, etc., provide details of your qualifying exam, course applied for, choose examination centre, and complete other details in the form.
- You will be asked to choose a security question and a password while filling the form. Keep the password safe till the admission process gets over.
- Once you have completed all the details, check them carefully before final submission.
- After the final submission, an application number will be generated. Note it down. The application number and the password are your login credentials for accessing your UPSEE profile for checking the admit card, result, etc.
- Now the next step is to upload the scanned images of your passport size photograph (in JPEG format of maximum file size 100 KB) and signature (in JPEG format of maximum file size 30 KB). Upload the scanned images at their designated fields and save them to proceed to the final stage of the application process.
- After image upload, you will be redirected to fee payment page. Select the mode of payment and make fee payment as per your category.
- On successful payment, download the confirmation page and take a print of the same. Please don’t send the hard copy/soft copy of the confirmation page to the exam conducting authority.
- In case the application fee transaction fails, candidates must make another transaction and the amount of failed transaction will be credited automatically to your account.

The application fee for the examination can be submitted online through credit card/ debit card/net banking. Additional transaction charges are to be paid by the candidate.

UPSEE BHMCT 2020 HelpDesk
In case of the failed application fee transaction, if the fee amount is not refunded within FIVE days, candidates must send an email to the UPSEE helpdesk. The format for the email is as under:
Subject: Failed Transaction
Mention the following in the email:
- Your Application Number,
- Transaction Number,
- Date of Birth, and
- Aadhar Number

UPSEE BHMCT Admit Card 2020
Admit cards for the UPSEE BHMCT exam will be uploaded on the official website in the second/third week of April 2020. Candidates can download the same using their login credentials. The admit card is a mandatory document for making entry to the examination hall. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without showing the admit card.
UPSEE BHMCT Result 2020
The UPSEE BHMCT 2020 result will be released in the last week of May/first week of June 2020. Candidates will be able to check their scores through their profile using their application numbers and password. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidates’ scores in the exam and will be released after the result declaration.
UPSEE BHMCT 2020 Counselling
After the publication of the merit list, candidates are required to register for the online counselling process. The seat allotment will depend upon candidate’s merit in the UPSEE BHMCT exam, preference of college, and seat availability. After seat allotment, candidates must report to the allotted college to confirm the admission. The counselling schedule will be released at the official website.
