UPSC NDA and NA (I) 2022 Application Process – Step-by-Step Guide
On 22nd December 2021, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the online application process for the first phase of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Exam 2022. The exam is commonly known as NDA & NA I exam. The online application process has started on 22nd December 2021 and will continue till 11th January 2022 till 06:00 pm. As per the UPSC NDA notification, candidates will now be able to register their entry and apply for NDA I examination 2022, as the exam conducting authority has activated the link to apply for NDA & NA I Application Process 2022. The applications are invited from 22nd December 2021 and will continue till 11th January 2022 till 06:00 pm.

NDA & NA I 2022 Application Process
Candidates are advised to submit the application form well before time to avoid the last-minute hassle. Here are some things which should be prepared beforehand to make the application process smooth:
- Scanned image of candidate’s recent photograph (in JPG format, the file size should not exceed 300 KB).
- Scanned image of candidate’s signature (in JPG format, the file size should not exceed 300 KB).
- A PDF file of Photo Identity Proof (the file size should be between 20 KB to 300 KB).
- A valid email ID
- An active mobile number
Steps to Fill the NDA & NA I 2022 Application Form
- Visit the official application submission website of UPSC.
- Click on the link ‘Online Application For Various Examinations of UPSC’ link.
- The application process links will appear in two parts. You are required to start filling the application form with Part-I. Please note that both parts of the registration process are to be completed before the last date of application submission.
- Now, click on the link under Part-I registration column.
- Read the instructions carefully and click on the ‘Yes’ button at the bottom of the page.
- The registration form will appear. Enter all the details correctly in the specified space provided. The details are to be correct as per the Matriculation Exam Certificate.
- After completing the registration form, click the ‘Continue’ button. If you want to fill the form again, click the ‘Reset’ button.
- After completing the registration process, a registration ID will appear on the screen. Keep it safe. This along with your DoB will be your log-in credentials.
- You can continue with the Part-II of the application process or log in later (before the last date) to complete the application form.
- Part-II of the registration process comprises fee payment, uploading scanned images of documents, and selecting the exam centre.
- Upload the scanned images of the candidate’s photograph, signature, and a PDF file of ID proof.
- Make fee payment - The application fee can be paid either through e-challan or using the online payment mode. The application fee for the NDA & NA I exam 2022 is ₹ 100. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, sons of JCOs/NCOs are exempted from paying the application fee.
- After successful fee payment, submit the completed application form. And, take a print of the confirmation page.
