UPPSC PCS 2020 Prelims Results Out, 5393 Qualified for Mains Exam

22^nd November 2020: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission commonly known as UPPSC has declared the prelims results of PCS/ACF-RFO exam. The UPPSC Provincial Civil Services (PCS), Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF), and Regional Forest Officer (RFO) 2020 examination was held on 11^th October 2020 in 19 districts across the state. As per the officials, 5393 candidates passed the examination and have qualified for UPPSC PCS/ACF-RFO Mains 2020 conducted on 22^nd January 2021. The exam will be conducted in two shifts i.e. 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm. The admit card for main exam will be released on the website in the first week of January 2021.

UPPSC PCS/ACF-RFO Result 2020: How to Check

The commission has declared the prelims result in five separate groups while the ACF/RFO Prelims 2020 Result has been declared separately after receiving requests by the candidates of general and special eligibilities for the posts. The result of the UPPCS Prelims exam was declared online in a PDF format. The candidates need to search their roll number in the result pdf.

To check the result, one should need to follow the given steps:

• Go to the certified web portal of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.
• Now, click on the link of ‘Result of PCS (Pre) Exam 2020 and ACF/RFO (Pre) Exam 2020’.
• A pdf will open, so make sure to download it.
• Students are advised to take a printout of their results for future use.

UPPSC PCS Result 2020 – Official Notice (Out)

As per the official UPPSC result notice out at uppsc.up.nic.in, a total of 5,95,696 candidates applied for the UPPSC PCS 2020 examination and out of these, 3,14,699 candidates appeared for the Prelims examination on 11^th October 2020. Candidates who successfully achieved the UPPSC PCS Cut Off marks decided by the exam conducting body have been declared as passed in the examination. UPPSC has selected 5393 candidates for the next phase of selection round on the basis of their performance in the prelims exam.

Candidates who qualified UPPSC PCS Prelims 2020 – What’s Next To Do?

Candidates who have been declared as passed in the UPPSC PCS Preliminary 2020 exam will now have to appear for two more selection rounds, UPPSC PCS Mains 2020 and UPPSC PCS Interview 2020. Candidates who qualify the Mains examination will get selected for the Interview round. As per the official, the UPPSC PCS Mains 2020 is going to be held on 22^nd January 2021, while the interview round will performed in the month of February. PCS Mains 2020 will be conducted offline in descriptive format. The UPPSC Mains exam is held in one-week duration. The Mains exam is comprised of a total of eight papers.
