The Government of Uttar Pradesh conducts the Joint Entrance Exam every year for admission of eligible candidates in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program offered at various colleges/ institutions in Uttar Pradesh. Every year, the responsibility of conducting the exam is given to different universities. The last exam i.e. the year 2021 exam was conducted by Lucknow University, Bareilly. UP B.Ed JEE 2022 Latest Update -
- UP B.Ed JEE 2022 notification will be released on 15th April 2022.
- UP B.Ed JEE 2022 application form will be released on 18th April 2022.
- UP B.Ed JEE 2022 entrance exam will be conducted on 6th July 2022.
- UP B.Ed JEE 2022 result will be declared on 5th August 2022.
- UP B.Ed JEE 2022 counseling will be done between 10th to 25th August 2022.
- UP B.Ed JEE 2022 session will begin on 29th August 2022.

UP B.Ed 2022 Exam Pattern
- The exam will comprise two question papers with objective-type questions.
- There will be negative marking in the exam.
- 1/3rd of marks allotted to the question will be deducted for an incorrect response.

Question Paper-II will also be of 3 hours duration. Candidates are required to answer the questions in the following parts:

Part A comprises questions on general aptitude while part B will have subject-related questions. Candidates are required to select their subjects at the time of filling out the application form.
UP B.Ed JEE 2022 Syllabus
There is no official syllabus recommended for the UP B.Ed. exam. However, the question will be based on 10+2+3 academic topics. Language skills will be tested based on 10+2 level standards. Some topics are as under:
Paper-I
General Knowledge - History, Geography, Politics, Sports, General Science, State Culture and Art, Current Affairs.
English - Reading Comprehension, Tense Error, Vocabulary, One-word creation, Synonyms/ Antonyms, Error Correction.
Hindi - Vyaakaran, Upasarg aur Pratyay, Gadyaansh, Sandhi/ Samaas, Paryayvachee/ Vipareetaarthak Shabd, Rus/ Chand/ Alankaar, Muhaavare aur Lokoktiyaan/ Kahavatein
Paper-II
General Aptitude - Reasoning Ability, Puzzle, Direction, Coding/ Decoding, Cube and Dices, Series Completion, Relations, Classification, Sequencing, Time and Distance, Missing Image/ Word/ Character, Percentage, Number, Average, Profit and Loss, Compound Interest/ Simple Interest, Ratio and Proportion.
Selected Subjects (Science, Commerce, Arts) - Question will be asked from topics of class 11th, 12th, and Graduation.
UP B.Ed JEE 2022 Eligibility
Candidates who are willing to appear in the UP B.Ed. entrance exam must make sure that they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Graduation (Science/ Commerce/ Arts) or Post Graduation degree (any discipline) with at least 50% marks from a recognised university.
- B.Tech./ B.E. degree holders are also eligible to apply. Such candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks.
- The minimum marks criterion doesn’t apply to those belonging to the SC/ ST category. They must have passed any of the above-mentioned degrees.
- Those in the final year of any of the above degrees are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates with an Integrated Dual Degree must ensure that the date of passing should be on or before the eligibility date. The minimum marks secured by the General category candidates must be 50% and by SC/ ST must be passed.
UP B.Ed JEE 2022 Application Process
Interested candidates are advised to fill out the UP B.Ed application process online at the official website. Option to edit fields viz. gender, stream, test centers, and weightage will be provided once the application process is over. So, fill in all the details carefully. Before filling out the application form, candidates must keep the following documents ready to make the process quick.
Documents Required for Filling the UP B.Ed. JEE Application Form
- Photo ID Proof (anyone - Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport)
- Valid email ID
- Active mobile number. All information regarding the exam and admission process will be sent to the registered mobile number.
- Alternate email Id and mobile number
- Passport size photograph in JPG format (50 KB)
- Scanned signature in JPEG format (50 KB)
- Left and Right index fingers impression in JPEG format (50 KB)
- Caste certificate
- Income certificate
- Weightage certificate
- Sub-category certificate

Here is the detailed process:
Registration
- Visit the official website at https://www.lkouniv.ac.in/.
- Click on the ‘UP JEE B.Ed. 2022-24’ option under the ‘Admission’ menu.
- Now click on the online form submission option.
- Click the ‘Registration for New User’ option.
- Read the instructions, tick the ‘I Agree’ checkbox, and click the Submit button.
- Provide all the details asked for and generate OTP.
- The OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number and an ID and password will be sent to your email ID.
- Complete the verification process and you will get a user ID and password.
Filling the Application Form
After the registration process is complete, you can submit the application form in multiple sittings. Just fill in the information and save it. Here are the steps for filling out the form:
- Login using the registered ID and password.
- Enter the personal details, educational qualification, weightage, and center choice, and upload the necessary documents.
- Preview all the details filled in and proceed to the application fee payment option.
Fee Payment
The application fee has to be paid as per the candidate’s category. The fee can be paid through credit card/ debit card/ internet banking. After successful fee payment, take a print of the completed application form.
Note: There is no need to send the hard copy of the confirmation page to the exam conducting authority.

UP B.Ed JEE 2022 Admit Card
- The admit card for the UP B.Ed 2022 exam will be released on 25th June 2022 on the official website.
- Candidates who successfully submitted the application form can download their admit cards using their login credentials.
- The admit will contain details related to the exam venue, date, timings, etc.
- It is a mandatory document for appearing in the exam.
