SSC Stenographer Group C and Group D Answer Key Released – Raise Objection Till 11 March
9th March 2019: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has uploaded the provisional answer key for the Stenographers Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2018. Candidates who took the exam can check the answer key at the official website. The SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ exam was conducted from 5th to 8th February 2019 through computer-based mode. The examination was conducted at 208 venues in 107 cities across the country. A total of 1,85,357 candidates have appeared for the examination.
Steps to check the SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Exam Answer Key
- Visit the official website of SSC.
- Click on the ‘Tentative answer Key, challenges for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination-2018’ link.
- You will see the link for checking the answer key at the end of the notice.
- Click it and again click on ‘click here’ link.
- Enter your user ID and password
- View the answer key, response sheet, and submit the objections (if any).
The last date to submit the representations and access the answer key and response sheet is 11th March 2019 (6:00 PM).
“The candidates may take a print-out of their respective Response Sheets as the same will not be available after the above specified time limit,” states the official notice.
Raising Objection
Candidates who have any doubts for any answer can submit their representations. Representations/objections can be submitted only through the online mode on payment of ₹ 100/- per challenge. It is mandatory to support your representation with an explanation/proof. Objections raised without any explanation will be rejected.
After considering the objections raised by the candidates, the Commission will release the final answer key.
SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Result
As per the official notification, “The tentative date for the declaration of the result of this examination is 15th April 2019.”
SSC Selection Process
Candidates who have qualified the computer-based exam are required to appear for the Skill Test where candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English/Hindi. Candidates are required type at a speed of 100 words per minute for Group ‘C’ and 80 words per minute for Group ‘D’. Candidates are required to take the test on computer. “Candidates who opt to take the Stenography Test in Hindi will be required to learn English Stenography and vice versa after their appointment, failing which their probation may not be cleared by appointing departments. Candidates have to work as English/ Hindi stenographers as per the functional requirement of the User Office irrespective of the medium of Skill Test of the candidate during the examination,” states the official information bulletin.
Candidates who are shortlisted through the Skill Test are required to appear for the Document Verification process. Candidates will also be asked to provide their preference for posts/departments at the time of document verification.
