SRMJEEE 2020 Syllabus - Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Aptitude, and English

Admission to the Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Institute of Science and Technology and its campuses is done through the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination. The entrance examination is conducted every year through online mode (Computer Based Test). The syllabus for the CBT is also prescribed by the exam conducting authority only. Candidates interested in applying for the exam can check the detailed SRMJEEE 2020 syllabus in the official notification.

The application process for the SRMJEEE exam is active now. The application process has started on 28th October 2019. The last date for receiving the application forms is 29th February 2020 (offline mode) and 30th March 2020 (online mode). Units and Measurement, Mechanics, Laws of Motion, Gravitation, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Electrostatics, Electric Potential, Brewster’s Law, Current Electricity, Magnetism and Magnetic Effects of Current, Electromagnetic Induction, Alternating Currents and Electromagnetic Waves, Optics, Wavefront and Huygen’s principle, Dual Nature of Radiation and Matter & Atomic Physics, Nuclear Physics, and Electronic Devices. 

Chemistry

Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, Emulsion - types of emulsion, General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Elements, p-block elements, ‘d’ and ‘f’ block elements, Coordination Compounds, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Aldehydes, Ketones, and Carboxylic Acids, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Biomolecules - Carbohydrates, Proteins, Vitamins,  Polymers, and Chemistry in Everyday Life.

Mathematics

Sets, Relations and Functions, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations, Matrices, Determinants, and Their Applications, Combinatorics, Algebra, Analytical Geometry - Straight Lines in Two Dimensions, Circles in Two Dimensions, Vector Algebra, Differential Calculus and its Applications, Integral Calculus and its Applications, Statistics and Probability Distribution, and Trigonometry.

Biology

Diversity in the Living World, Structural Organisation in Animals and Plants, Cell Structure and Function, Cell Division, Human Physiology, Digestion and absorption, Plant Physiology, Transport in plants, Respiration, Reproduction, Genetics and Evolution, Biology and Human Welfare, Biotechnology and its applications, and Ecology and Environment.

Aptitude

Number System, Profit and Loss, Percentage, Quadratic Equation, Geometry, Statistics, Arrangement, Direction Sense Test, Trigonometry, and Linear Equation.

English

Comprehension, Short passages, lines from poems, and dialogues. Multiple Choice Questions will be asked.
