SBI PO Exam 2019 – Final Result of Probationary Officer Exam Declared, Download Allotment Letter
The State Bank of India has released the final result for its Probationary Officers exam 2019. Candidates who appear for the final phase of the PO examination can check their results on the official website. The final phase i.e. Group Exercise and Interview were conducted in September 2019. The recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) in the State Bank of India was announced on 21st April 2019 through an official advertisement. The preliminary exam was conducted on 8th and 9th June 2019 and the Main exam on 20th July 2019. The exam conducting authority has also released the letter to successful candidates and the Main exam marks secured by the candidates. Candidates can access the same using their Roll number/ Registration number and Date of Birth. Here are the steps to check the SBI PO Result 2019.
Steps to Check the SBI PO 2019 Result
- Visit the official SBI recruitment page.
- Scroll down for the ‘Recruitment of Probationary Officers in the State Bank of India’ section.
- Expand it and look for the ‘Final Result’ link.
- Click it.
- The PDF file containing the roll number of selected candidates will appear on the screen.
- Find your roll number on the list using the “CTRL+F” command from the keyboard.
SBI has also informed the successful candidates through SMS. The result is subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria and correctness of information provided at the time of registration.
The bank has also cautioned candidates against fake selection letters stating; “It has been reported to us that some fraudsters have hosted websites making them appear to be as those of State Bank of India (SBI). Fake lists of selection for posts in SBI have been published on these websites, and reportedly fake appointment letters are also being issued in the name of SBI.”
Candidates must be aware of such websites and fake selection letters. Also, SBI only releases the roll number/ registration number of the selected candidates. It never publishes the name of candidates on the official website.
What’s Next?
The selected candidates will have to undergo an online course before joining. The course comprises of getting familiar with the basic banking knowledge. Candidates are required to execute a Bond of ₹ 2 lakh (two lakh) at the time of joining for serving the bank for a minimum of three years’ time period. Selected candidates will be designated as ‘Probationary Officers’ and will be on two years probation.
