SBI Clerk 2019 Latest Update - The SBI clerk notification will be tentatively released in the month of March 2019. It was expected to release in the 3rd week of January as per the previous year schedule. However, there is no such update on the official website.

SBI Clerk 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the SBI Clerk 2019 exam must ensure that they meet the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification (as on 1st January 2019)
- Graduation (any discipline) or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
- For Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate, date of passing (date appearing on the mark sheet) the IDD must be on or before 1st January 2019.
- Ex-servicemen with matriculate certificate who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate from Air Force or Navy after completing minimum 15 years of service in Armed Forces are also eligible for the post.
SBI Clerk 2019 Application Process: How to apply?
Candidates will be able to fill the SBI clerk application form online through the official website. Please note that no other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates are advised to complete the application process within the given period of time. The application form can be filled in more than a single attempt (maximum three attempts) i.e. candidates can save the partly filled-in form and log-in later to complete the rest of the application details. Here are the steps to complete the application form:
Steps to Apply for SBI Clerk 2019 Exam
- Go to SBI ongoing recruitment page - SBI Clerk 2019 Link
- Find the link for Junior Associate/Clerk Recruitment 2019 and click on the advertisement link.
- Read the advertisement carefully and click on ‘Click Here to Apply’ link on the top.
- Click on ‘Click here for New Registration’ link.
- Fill the details asked for and complete the registration process. After successful registration, a registration number and password will be generated.
- Use the registration number and password to log-in and complete the form and upload the scanned images of your photograph and signature.
- After completing the form, check the details carefully. No change in the details will be allowed thereafter.
- Make fee payment. On successful payment, an e-receipt and completed application form will be generated. Take a printout of the same for future reference.

SBI Clerk 2019 Exam Pattern
SBI clerk recruitment process consists of:
- Preliminary exam (Phase I)
- Main exam (Phase II)
- Test of Local Language
Preliminary Exam (Phase I)
The preliminary phase examination will be conducted online. It consists of 100 objective type questions from the following three sections which are to be completed in maximum 1-hour duration.

Main Exam (Phase II)
It will be an online test comprising of 190 objective type questions. The detailed information is tabulated below:

Negative Marking (Applicable to Phase I and Phase II) – There will be negative marking for wrong answers. 1/4th of the total marks allotted to a question will be deducted for the wrong answer.
Test of Local Language
Candidates who qualify the Main phase exam will have to appear for the test of opted local language. However, those who produce the 10th or 12th mark sheet supporting that they have studied the opted local language, will be exempted from the language test.
SBI Clerk 2019 Syllabus
The preparation books available in the market (online and offline) are the best source for preparation as the State Bank of India doesn’t specify any syllabus for the SBI Clerk exam. These preparation books, mock tests, and sample papers are prepared by the experts after analyzing previous years’ papers. Thus, they offer a good insight into the SBI Clerk syllabus and exam pattern.
SBI Clerk 2019 Admit Card
Separate admit cards will be issued for the Preliminary and Main phases of the examination. Admit cards will be issued 2-3 weeks prior to the exam dates. For the Main phase examination, admit card will be issued only for those who qualify the Preliminary exam. Candidates are required to download the admit cards only from the official website using their registration ID and password.
It is necessary to carry the admit card to the examination hall along with a photo identity proof. No hard copy of admit card/call letters will be sent by post.

Candidates can carry any of the following documents as Photo ID proof along with the Admit Card on the day of examination:
- Aadhaar Card
- Passport
- PAN Card
- Driving License
- Bank Passbook with attested Photograph
- Voter’s Card

SBI Clerk 2019 Result
SBI releases different results for Preliminary and Main phase examination after the SBI Clerk answer key has been released. Those who qualify Preliminary phase become eligible for Main and those who qualify the Main phase become eligible for the Test of Local Language. The final merit list (list of qualified candidates) is released after the local language test. It is prepared on the basis of Main exam marks. Candidates can check all the results at the official website.
