RRB JE 2022 Application Form & Submission Process

Pre-Requisites

Before starting the registration process, please read the official information bulletin (CEN 03/2018) available on the official websites of RRBs and make sure you are eligible for the exam. Check out the education qualification table to see the posts which match your qualification. Also, check the vacancy table to decide the RRB for which you want to apply.

Candidates are also required to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature. So, keep them ready before filling the application form. Here are the specifications for digital images:

• Candidate’s Photograph – Coloured image in JPEG format between 20 KB and 50 KB size.
• Candidate’s Signature – Signature (only in running handwriting) must be on white paper with a black ink pen in a 50mm x 20mm box. The scanned image must be in JPEG format between 10KB to 40 KB.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST category who are seeking Free Travel Pass are required to upload the scanned image of their SC/ST certificate in JPEG format of size 50 to 100 KB.

Steps for filling the RRB JE Application Form

• Go to the official website of any RRB. Check out the list of all RRBs with the official website.
• Click the ‘Click here to Apply for CEN 03/2022’ link.
• Select the RRB for which you want to apply from the list. Please note that you cannot change the choice of RRB after registration is done.
• Confirm it and click on the ‘New Registration’ button. Don’t forget to click the acceptance checkbox.
• Enter your name (as per your class X certificate), DOB, father’s name, mother’s name, Aadhaar number, email id, mobile number, etc. Check the information before final submission.
• On successful registration, an auto-generated registration ID and password will appear on the screen. These are the login details; keep them safe.
• You will receive an OTP on your registered email id as well as your mobile number. Enter the OTP in the space provided and click the ‘Validate’ button to verify the email id and mobile number.
• Now, click on the ‘Apply/Edit’ option to fill the eligibility form. Enter your qualification details.
• On submitting the eligibility form, posts as per your eligibility will appear in front of you.
• You need to provide your preference for the posts.
• You are also required to select the exam group for the technical paper if you are eligible for more than one group.
• Now, click on the payment tab and make a fee payment.
• On successful payment of the fee, you are required to complete the application process by uploading the scanned images of documents, select the exam language, etc.
• Upload your photograph and signature and ‘Preview’ them. After final submission, modification in the scanned images will be done after paying ₹ 100/-.
• Click on the ‘Final Submit’ button.

Application Fee Payment

Important: The fee amount will be refunded (after deducting the bank charges) after the candidates appear for the 1^st CBT. The complete amount (₹ 250) will be refunded for reserved categories and ₹ 400 will be refunded for General category candidates.

Mode of Payment

Candidates can pay the application fee through:

• Net Banking /Debit card/ Credit card
• E-challan at SBI branches
• E-challan at Post offices

Modification in the application form can be done on payment of a fee. So, make sure you fill out the application form correctly on the first attempt. Different fees are charged for making corrections in different details. Check the official notification for the same. The official notification states, “The modification to the registration and application details can be done twice only.”

No changes will be allowed in the choice of RRB, email id, and mobile number. Candidates must keep their mobile number and email id in working condition during the recruitment process. All communications will be done through these.

Fill the application form well before the last date to avoid any last-minute rush.
