Indian Railway Recruitment 2022 - RRB Group D Exam Syllabus
The Indian Railways offers a golden opportunity to aspirants who want to work in this sector. In 2019, the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) had announced approximately 1,03,769 vacancies for various Group D posts in different zones. This year’s notification has not released yet. However, it is expected to be released in September/ October 2020. The posts in RRB Group D 2020 recruitment will include Assistant/ Helper in various departments viz. Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Traffic, Stores, S and T, Medical, etc. The application process will be conducted online and aspirants who are looking forward to the examination schedule must wait for the official notification.
The RRB Group D exam 2022 is scheduled to be conducted from 23rd February 2022. The exact examination schedule/ exam dates are yet to be published.
Till the official examination schedule releases, candidates should start with their preparations as the competition is really tough. Those who haven’t started the exam preparation yet should start it now. Most probably, the examination will be held in the month of December 2020. So, it is high time to start the preparations. RRB Group D 2022 Exam Pattern
Before moving on to the syllabus, let’s have a quick look at the exam pattern. The Group D recruitment process is carried out in 3 stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Document Verification
The Computer Based Test consists of 100 Objective Type Questions which are to be completed in 90 minutes time duration. The questions will be from the areas – Mathematics, General Science, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness/Current Affairs. Mathematics
Number System, BODMAS, Decimals, Square Root, Fractions, Percentages, Mensuration, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Simple and Compound Interest, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Age Calculations, Pipes & Cistern, and Calendar & Clock.
General Science
Topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Life Sciences syllabus of 10th standard.
General Intelligence and Reasoning
Alphabetical and Number Series, Analogies, Mathematical Operations, Coding and Decoding, Relationships, Venn Diagram, Syllogism, Jumbling, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Similarities and Differences, Conclusions and Decisions Making, Analytical Reasoning, Directions, Classification, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions.
General Awareness on Current Affairs
Aspirants must be aware of the current happening in the areas of Science & Technology, culture, Sports, Personalities, Politics, Economics, and other subjects of importance.
