ONGC Recruitment 2019 – Applications Invited for More Than 4000 Apprentice Vacancies
The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has announced 4,104 apprentice vacancies. Online applications are invited from the eligible and interested candidates through the official website of ONGC – www.ongcindia.com or www.ongcapprentices.co.in. The ONGC online registration process has started on 14th March and will continue till 28th March 2019.

ONGC Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Age Limits
The minimum age limit for the exam is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 24 years as on 28th March 2019. Upper age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates.
Educational Qualification
Accountant – Graduation degree (Commerce) from a recognized University.
Assistant (Human Resource) – Graduation degree (B.A. or B.B.A.) from a recognized University.
“The applicant must have obtained minimum 45% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 40% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates against reserved positions.”

ONGC Recruitment 2019 – Steps to Apply
- Go to www.ongcapprentices.co.in.
- Click on ‘ONGC Apprentice Registration’ link.
- Enter e-mail ID, password, registration number, contact number, name, date of birth, etc. and click on ‘Register’ button.
- After successful registration, candidates will receive their log-in details in the registered email id and mobile number.
- Again, go to the home-page and click on ‘ONGC Apprentice Login’ link.
- Enter the log-in credentials and complete the form.
- Check the information and submit the form.
- Print the filled-in application form through the ‘Status’ link.
The candidate should NOT send any hard copy/printed copy of application form or any other certificate to ONGC.” However, the shortlisted candidates are required to carry the printed application form to their respective centres.
Selection Process
The official notification states, “Selections for engagement of Apprentices would be based on the basis of marks obtained in the stated qualification and Merit drawn thereon. In case of a similar number in merit, a person with higher age would be considered.”
ONGC Recruitment 2019 – Result Announcement
The result for the shortlisted candidates will be tentatively announced on 1st April 2019. The document verification process will be carried from 8th to 12th April 2019. Joining of candidates will be done on 15th April 2019.
