NEET SS Counselling 2022 – Seat Allotment in September 2022
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses) or NEET SS 2022 is held under the umbrella of the National Board of Education for admission to various DM/ MCh courses. According to the Indian Medical Council Act, 2016, no other entrance test is valid for admission to DM/ MCh courses. As per the latest update, the Medical Counselling Committee will officially declare the NEET SS Counselling Result 2022 in September 2022. Along with the final result for NEET SS Counselling 2022, MCC has also released the seat allotment letters for the candidates who have been selected for admission. How to Check NEET SS Counselling Results 2022
Keeping in mind the convenience of the candidates, MCC will published the results online and also make the seat allotment letters available online on the official website. Step-wise instructions to access NEET SS Counselling Result 2022 are given below, using which candidates can check their results online:
Step 1: Visit the official website - mcc.nic.in/MCCSS/homepage
Step 2: Locate Link for DM, MCh, and DNB SS from Download Section
Step 3: Your NEET SS allotment list PDF will be displayed on the screen
Step 4: Search the All India Rank (AIR) and check the details and college allotted
Step 5: Verify the details mentioned and take a printout
Tentatively a total of 500 DM/MCh candidates will be invited for NEET SS seat allotment 2022 process. These candidates will be provided a period of around 1 week to confirm their admission. Candidates allotted seats need to withdraw/accept the seat and report at the allotted colleges between this period. The seat allotment done by MCC for NEET SS 2022 admission is based on the Rank secured by the candidates along with the choices or preferences filed, seat availability and reservation criteria.

NEET SS Counselling Process 2022 – Step-By-Step Guide
The complete NEET Super Speciality Counselling 2022 process will be comprised of these steps, which are as follows:
- Registration and Application Process
- Choice Filling and Locking
- Seat Allotment List
- Accepting/Refusing the Allotted Seat
- Report the Institute
Step 1 - Registration and Application Process
Candidates who want to participate in the counselling round of NEET SS 2022 will have to register themselves on the official website of MCC. As mentioned above, only those candidates who have qualified for the NEET SS 2022 will be able to register for the counselling process.
In order to complete the application process for NEET SS 2022 counselling, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹ 5,000 online. They will also have to transfer a security deposit of ₹ 2,00,000. The security deposit will be adjusted against the academic fees for students who have been allotted a seat through the counselling of NEET SS 2022. The amount will be refunded to the candidates who do not get the seat allotted to them or those who opt out of the counselling process.
Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking
Now, fill in the choices for course/college on the official portal of MCC. One must make sure to check the fee structure and other details about the colleges they wish to select before submitting their choices. To fill in their choices, candidates will have to log in to their registered accounts on the official website of MCC. They then need to select the courses/colleges they wish to apply for in the decreasing order of preference. There is no limit to the number of choices one can fill in the preference form. Also, the choices filled can be modified any number of times before a candidate locks them.
Step 3: Seat Allotment List
After this, MCC will prepare the seat allotment list for various specialties on the basis of the NEET SS 2022 merit list and the choices that were submitted online by the candidates. The seat allotment list for each specialty is prepared separately.
Step 4: Accepting or Refusing the Seat Allotted
Candidates will be allotted a seat through the NEET SS counselling and will have to choose from the following four options:
- Accept the seat allotted and exit from the counselling process
- Accept the seat allotted, but choose to participate in the next round
- Refuse the seat allotted, but choose to participate in the next round
- Refuse the seat allotted and exit from the counselling process
All candidates selected through the counselling of NEET SS 2022 will have to fill any of the above options by logging into their registered accounts. If a candidate fails to choose any of the above options, their seat will be forfeited, and their admission will be canceled.
Step 5: Report the Institute
Candidates who choose to accept the allotted seat will have to report to the respective institute before the deadline. Candidates who have opted for up-gradation in the next round will also have to report to the allotted institute, else they will not be considered for the next round.
