What is re-registration for SMU-DE Education student?
Sikkim Manipal Distance Education students are required to re-register with the Sikkim Manipal University Login page. This is needed to do after each semester till you get your degree certification. According to the SMU-DE student guide; “All eligible students are require to apply for re-registration online in order to continue with the coming semesters. This should be done in the given time period and it requires a fee to pay for re-registration.”
Sikkim Manipal Distance Education follows the semester system for study; so after each semester, students need to apply for the next semester and this require re-registration.
How to apply re-registration?
The eligible students need to apply online for re-registration. The official portal of SMU DDE SLCM portal is http://myzone.smude.edu.in which needs to use for re-register with SMU-Distance Education. In case, any student fails to do so, he/she won’t be entitled to appear for the term-end examinations.
Where to find the last date applicable for Re-registration?
There is a specific time period given to complete the re-registration process. Students should get the information about it after signing in to their Sikkim Manipal Login account of distance education from the Circular/Announcements section. Students can also get updates about re-registration circular uploaded under Student login option of http://myzone.smude.edu.in.
What are the various modes to pay re-registration fee?
In order to keep the convenience of students; SMU-DE has various mode of payment to pay re-registration fee.
Demand draft – You can pay the fee for re-registration including Semester fee, Certificate fee, Late Fee (wherever applicable) in a single demand. It should be drawn in the name of SIKKIM MANIPAL UNIVERSITY DE payable at Locally
Online payment – There are many payments gateways available which can also be use for re-registration
Net banking – Students can use net banking also to make payment of their re-registration fee. There is a list of participated banks; if students have account with it, then they can make payment using net banking. They can refer this list for participating banks.
