MBBS Admission in India

Almost every single institute gives admission in the MBBS course through an entrance exam. Generally, the forms for the medical programme must be filled via the online form and available from the month of January to March. However, the exam habitually takes place in the month of April to May every year. Eligibility Criteria for Admission to MBBS Course

The structure of MBBS is divided into three broad categories- pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical. To know the MBBS eligibility criteria, one should follow the norms directed by the MCI given below-

  • Appearing students are required to complete 10+2 level in PCB stream with minimum aggregate marks of 50%.
  • Candidates have to appear for medical entrance exams such as NEET, AIIMS MBBS and other prestigious exams and qualify it. However, students from outside India will be required to qualify a NEET UG exam.
  • The age limit of the candidate must be in between 17 to 25 years old.

The course is organized by the Medical Council of India and is spanned for five and a half years divided into 9 semesters and a compulsory rotating internship for one year.
