Candidates appearing for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2021 must be seeking the complete syllabus of the exam. The conducting authority i.e. All India Management Association doesn’t have a pre-defined strict syllabus. The truth is ‘there is no official syllabus of MAT exam. Certainly, the syllabus for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2021 comprises a wide range of topics. The questions that the candidates would face in the exam are designed to assess the general aptitude of the test-takers. Over the years, it has been observed that the questions would mainly contain Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and the Indian and Global Environment. All the 200 questions come from the above-mentioned subjects and are in MCQs in nature. To secure good marks in the exam, the best advice is that you should accelerate the speed of practising mock test and previous years’ question papers.

Detailed Syllabus for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2021 -

Language Comprehension – How knowledgeable and proficient are you with the English Language? This section tests the candidates’ command over the language through grammar, vocabulary, reading skills, etc.

Topics - Verbal Reasoning, Reading Comprehension (4-5 passages), Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Correction, Odd Man Out, Error Correction or Spotting, Idioms, Jumble Sentences/Alphabets, Rearranging, Analogies, Summary Exercise, Synonyms/Antonyms and Fill in the Blanks

Indian and Global Environment – How would you improve your general knowledge? The simple method is to read magazines, newspapers, etc. This Indian and Global Environment section keeps a check on candidates whether they are well aware of the current happenings around the world.

Topics - Current Affairs, Business, Geography, Entertainment, Science, History, General Knowledge, Politics, Sports, Awards and Miscellaneous Events

Data Analysis and Sufficiency – If you have a weak interpretation skill, you have got pretty few opportunities then. This particular category covers the following points.

Topics - Charts, Bar Graphs, Data Caselette, Pie Chart, Puzzles, Tables, Graphs and Venn diagram.

Mathematical Skills – How soon you can find a solution to a problem? This is what the questions from this section will assess in you

About MAT:

MAT or Management Aptitude Test is a national-level management entrance test conducted for admission to MBA courses in various colleges in the country that accept MAT scorecard. The scorecard is valid for one year. AIMA regulated the exam four times a year – February, May, September and December. The upcoming exam has been scheduled to be taken place on 30th May 2021.
