JIPMER PG 2022 exam was scheduled to be conducted on 8th May 2022. JIPMER PG 2022 Exam - Marking Scheme

The marking scheme for both the MD/MS and MDS courses is similar. 4 marks will be awarded for every correct response. Here are the details:

  • Correct answers - 4 marks
  • Incorrect answers - 1 mark will be deducted
  • Unattempted - 0 marks

As there is a negative marking in the exam, candidates must mark the answers very carefully. Answer only those questions for which you are sure.

JIPMER PG Exam Eligibility Score

The exam conducting authority has set an eligibility score for the entrance exam. This is the minimum score that candidates must secure to qualify for the exam. The category-wise minimum scores are as under:

Basic Clinical Science - Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology and Forensic Medicine, Pathology, Toxicology, and Biostatistics.

Clinical Science - Medicine, Community Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, ENT, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Anesthesiology, Radio-Diagnosis, Psychiatry, Radio Therapy, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Blood Transfusion Medicine, and Nuclear Medicine.

Syllabus for MDS Course

Basic Clinical Science - General Anatomy including histology and embryology, Dental Anatomy, Embryology & Oral Histology, General Human Physiology and Biochemistry, General and Dental Pharmacology and Therapeutics, General Medicine, General Surgery, General Pathology and Microbiology, and Biostatistics.

Dental Science - Dental Materials, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral Pathology and Oral Microbiology, Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics Periodontology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, and Public Health Dentistry.
