JEECUP 2022 Eligibility Criteria - Age Limit and Educational Qualification
The Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) conducts the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (Polytechnic) for admission to Diploma, Post Diploma, and Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering, Technology, and Management courses offered at the polytechnic colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
The UP JEE Polytechnic exam is conducted offline mode for different courses. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility conditions for the course they are interested in before applying for the exam. Here are the detailed eligibility requirements for the UPJEE Polytechnic exam.

Age Limit
The minimum/ lower age limit for the exam is 14 years as on 1st July 2022.
There is no maximum/ upper age limit for the exam.

Eligibility for Lateral Entry (K1 to K8)
Through Lateral entry, candidates can get admission directly into the 2nd year of the Engineering diploma course. The general eligibility criteria are:
- Intermediate Science
- Intermediate Science with Technical/ Vocational subjects
- ITI Trade (Minimum 2 years) in their respective trades
