UPJEE Counselling 2020 – Second Allotment Result Out, Registrations Begins For Third Round
The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh has begun the registrations and choice filling process for the UPJEE 2020 Counselling Round 3. After announcing the round 2 results of JEECUP 2020 Counselling Process, the JEE Council, Uttar Pradesh has announced the detailed counselling schedule for the JEECUP 2020 exam for admission to polytechnic colleges in the state. Candidates have to report for document verification of second round of counselling from 13th October 2020 to 16th October 2020. Candidates who have qualified in UPJEE Result 2020 declared recently, can register themselves for the counselling process via exam portal jeecup.nic.in.
UP Polytechnic 2020 exam (JEECUP) is conducted for granting admission in engineering, pharmacy, technology, and other diploma courses. Several polytechnic institutions affiliated to Board of Technical Education, U.P consider the JEE CUP 2020 result to offer admission in polytechnic courses.

UPJEE 2020 Counselling Process
The UPJEE Result 2020 was declared by the official authority by 28th September 2020. After the announcement of the result, shortlisted students are eligible to participate in the JEECUP Counselling 2020. In order to apply for the counselling and seat allotment process, one should complete the following steps:
Step 1: Registration for counselling
- Visit the official website i.e. jeecup.nic.in and enter your Login credentials such as Application Number and Password.
- In the next step, pay the counselling fees of ₹ 250 via online or offline mode (Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card or eChallan).
Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking Process
- In this step, candidates are required to fill their choices for college and courses.
- After the completion of the choice filling process, applicants have to lock the choices and take a print out.
Note: If choices are not locked within the time duration, the last entered choices will automatically get locked.
Step 3: Allotment of Seats
- The enrolment of the qualifiers will be based on their choices filled in the form and State Open Rank of UPJEE Polytechnic 2020.
- Qualified candidates will have to show up along with the original documents and photocopies on the day of the Seat allocation process.
Step 4: Document Verification
- Candidates who are allotted seats in any of the counselling rounds need to report at the allotted institute for documentation within the given time. If a candidate who has been allotted a seat, but doesn’t report for verification, well, in that case, he/she will be disqualified from the counselling process.
- A list of important documents are as follows:
- Class10th and 12th Mark Sheet
- UP Polytechnic/ UPJEE 2020 Counselling Letter
- UPJEE 2020 Admit Card
- UPJEE 2020 Scorecard
- Valid Identity Proof
- Passport Size Photographs (2 copies)
Step 5: Seat Allocation & Fee Deposition
After seats have been allotted, candidates will need to submit the seat acceptance fee of ₹ 3000 as a security fee which will be adjusted with the admission fee at the time of admission in the allotted college. After this candidate will opt from any of the following two options - Freeze and Float.
- Freeze – In this process, if the candidate opts for freeze option, the seat will be locked and the participant will not be to take a part in further counselling rounds.
- Float - This option would allow the students to upgrade & participate in other rounds of counselling as per the previously filled choices.
Step 6: Report at the Allotted College
Those aspirants who have completed the above mentioned steps need to report at the allotted college within the prescribed date and time.
