CSAB SFTI Eligibility Criteria 2020

Eligibility Criteria of CSAB SFTI 2020 (For Engineering Courses)
Admission seekers for B. Tech/ B.E. Admissions have to complete the eligibility requirements as follows:
- Test-takers should have successfully qualified the JEE Main 2020 Paper I exam.
- Must have passed class 12th boards with a minimum score of 45% marks in aggregate for General category.
- Students of SC/ST/OBC/PwD and other reserved category need to achieve 40% marks in 12th class.
- The students should have obtained minimum aggregate passing marks in the best five subjects in class 12th. The list of five subjects are as follows:
- Physics
- Mathematics
- Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subjects
- Any one language
- Any one other subjects
Eligibility Criteria of CSAB SFTI 2020 (For Architecture Courses)
Admission seekers for B. Arch Admissions need to fulfil the eligibility requirements as follows:
- Apprentices should obtain a valid rank in JEE Main 2020 Paper II exam.
- Must have studied Mathematics as a main subject.
- Should have scored 50% marks in top five subjects including Maths.
CSAB SFTI Counselling 2020 & Seat Allotment Process
CSAB SFTI 2020 counselling process will be administered by the conductive authorities to provide admissions to the qualified JEE Main candidates. Seats will be allotted to the fellow contestants, based on their eligibility and merit scores. The below-mentioned steps have to be presented by the authorities to complete the counselling process.
Step 1- Payment of Fee
In the beginning, students will have to sign in to the official CSAB portal through their respective JEE Main 2020 Application Number. After signing in, the aspirants will need to pay ₹ 21,000 as a fee through SBI Collect. Once the process of payment has been completed, candidates will have to go to the SBI portal and access their payment receipt via selecting one of the following options:
- By submitting their DOB, Mobile Number, Start and End Date
- By submitting their DOB, DU Reference Number, and Mobile Number
Step 2- Registration Procedure
After fee payment, students will be able to register themselves for the counselling process. Login has to be done simply by means of JEE Main 2019 roll number and password. After this, the filled form will be appearing on your screen where you can verify your details. Students will be able to edit the following details in the form including Category, Gender, PwD status, and percentage of marks.
Step 3- Choice Filling Segment
After the completion of the registration process of the candidate, they are required to complete the choice filling section. In simple words, students have to fill their choices of technical institutes and course according to their order of preference. It is advisable to the candidates do this step more carefully since the order of preferences can affect the allotment. Before locking of choices, apprentices will get an option to rearrange, add or delete their selected choices. No changes can be made after the completion of the locking process.
Note: If the candidate fails to lock their preferred college seat, and then it will be automatically locked after the deadline.
Step 4- CSAB SFTI Seat Allotment Process
The counselling authority will allow the students as per their preferences, merit, category, and seats available. Candidates can participate in seat allotment process and access the result through online mode. After allotment of seats, students need to download their provisional seat allotment letter has been downloaded by the official site of CSAB.
Step 5- Reporting at Allotted Centres
Selected participants will have to visit their reporting centre for a documentation round. At the allotted institute, students need to pay the balance fee. If the candidate is failing to visit the allotted centre, his/her seat will be cancelled. Students need to submit all the important documents at the reporting institute, in the following manner:
- JEE Main 2020 Admit Card
- JEE Main 2020 Score Card
- 12th standard mark sheet or certificate
- Provisional Seat Allotment Letter
- Photo ID issued by Central/State Govt./Last School Attended or Admit Card of 12th standard examination
- Proof of Payment of Initial Fee through SBI Collect
- 10th standard certificate as proof of date of birth and name of the candidate
- One Passport Size Photograph (Similar to the one used in JEE Main 2019 application form)
- Medical report
Note: Students have to submit a copy of important documents along with the original one.
Step 6- Confirm Your Admission
In this round, students have to pay the balance amount of the course fee in the allocated centre.
Refund of Initial Fee
- Apprentices who fail to visit the allocated centre within the mentioned time period, their initial fee of ₹ 21,000 will not be refunded.
- If in case, students do not submit the above-mentioned documents on time, their application shall be liable for rejection. Hence, their initial fee will not be refunded.
- Those apprentices who fail to get allotted in the CSAB SFTI Counselling 2020 will get the refund of ₹ 20,000 as ₹ 1,000 will be deducted as a non-refunded fee.
