Top Engineering Colleges (Government & Private) Offering Admission through JEE Main 2021

Last Modified: 18 Nov 2024

Did you know that all the top-level engineering colleges accept JEE Main scores for admission to various undergraduate programmes? To study engineering at the elite institutes in the country, clearing Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) is the first step.

JEE Main 2021 will be held four times a year – February, March, April, and May by the National Testing Agency. Moreover, JoSAA, which was formed in 2018 to manage the joint seat allocation to 100 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) from 2018-19 academic year, is entitled with the responsibility to declare the JEE Main admission cut-off for admission to participating institutes. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority comprises representatives from the Central Seat Allocation Board and Joint Admission Board, who are countable for the seat allocation to NITs and other participating institutes.

Based on All Indian Rank (AIR), admission to CFTIs, NITs and IIITs through Central Seat Allocation will be conducted; given the fact that the students must have scored 75% marks in aggregate in the class XII exam. After the completion of JEE Main exams (February, March, April, and May), the Agency will organise common counselling to fill up seats of the participating colleges. Apart from the above-mentioned institutes, there are a number of state-government run colleges and private colleges that will also use the JEE Main score 2021 for admission to UG courses.

Wish to pursue engineering at the below-mentioned government colleges? Accelerate your JEE Main 2021 preparation accordingly.
