IIT JAM 2022 – Application Correction Process Started on 20th October 2021, Check the Procedure
The application correction process for the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) 2022 has started on the official website - http://jam.iitkgp.ac.in/. Exam centre, category, and gender fields in the application forms were allowed to be changed till 25th October 2021. Only those candidates who have successfully submitted the JAM 2022 application forms can make the corrections.
Steps for Making Corrections in the IIT JAM 2022 Exam
- Go to the official website - http://jam.iitkgp.ac.in/.
- You will find two links running under the ‘Latest Announcements’ section – ‘Request for change of a Centre (before October 25, 2021)’ and ‘Changing Category or Gender (before October 25, 2021)’
- Click on the link as per the information you want to change.
- The procedure to make the changes will be mentioned. Read carefully and follow the process correctly.
Please Note: Change in the examination centre will be allowed on payment of ₹ 500 through Demand Draft. However, the Organizing Chairperson’s decision for change in the exam centre will be considered final.

JAM 2022 Exam Schedule
The IIT JAM 2022 entrance examination will be conducted on 13th February 2022 through CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. The exam will be organized in two sessions which are detailed below:

The exam is conducted for admission to M.Sc. (4 semesters programme), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree etc. courses offered at the IITs and Integrated Ph.D. degree programmes at IISc for students interested in pursuing a career in Science. The exam is conducted on rotational-basis by the eight zonal IITs.
IIT JAM 2022 Admit Card
Admit cards for the IIT JAM 2022 exam were downloaded only through the online mode from the official website. The downloading was available from 16th January 2022 till the JAM 2022 exam date. Candidates were required to carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof (the same whose details are filled in the online application form). No candidates were permitted to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.
