IGNOU Admission 2018 - Online Application Process Begins for January Session
Online applications are available for IGNOU Admission 2018. Candidates can apply through the official website for January session till 15th February 2018.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited online applications for its January 2018 session. Candidates can apply for admission into the master’s, bachelor’s, diploma and certificate programmes of IGNOU. The programmes are available from different disciplines like - Science, Social Science, Computer Science, Health Science, Humanities, Education, Management, Agriculture, Social Work, Tourism, Law, Performing and Visual Arts, Translation, Inter and Trans-disciplinary Studies, Engineering and Technology, Foreign Languages, Journalism, Vocational Education and Training etc.
The University has introduced some new programmes and has invited the applications for these as well. The new programmes are Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work Counselling (PGDCOUN) and Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainability Science (PGDSS). These courses are available in an online mode.
Steps to Apply for IGNOU Application Form:
Interested candidates can apply online at official website of IGNOU through the following 3 steps:
Step-1 Login
Visit the official website of IGNOU - Click Here. There “Click on “Register yourself” button inside the “Applicant Login” panel. A login panel will crop up, fill in the student’s registration form and submit. The login id and password will generate, log in to the account with the generated username and password along with security code and submit.
Step-2 Open and Fill in the Registration Form
Open up the application, read the given instructions and fill it with the- personal, qualification details, address, medium of study, preferred course, regional centre and other asked details. Columns marked with (*) are mandatory to fill. Upload the scanned images of the recent passport photograph, signature and the listed educational documents.
Step-3 Pay the Fee and Submit the Application
As per your opted course, pay the asked application fee via-Debit, Credit card or Net Banking. After paying the fee, go through each of the information again and then submit the application form before the due date. Do take a print of the submitted application form and the confirmation page for reference.
You will also receive a confirming email and an SMS for successful submission of the application form.
Note- In the case of the OPENMAT exam, aspirants need to send their application forms via offline mode i.e. through the post to the IGNOU officials.
Management programmes viz. Post Graduate specialisation Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM), Operations Management (PGDOM), Financial Management (PGDFM), Financial Markets Practice (PGDFMP) and Marketing Management (PGDMM) doesn’t require entrance examinations.
