The Indian Council of Agriculture Research, popularly known as ICAR, is the common entrance exam conducted to invite young aspiring aspirants to get admission in UG Agricultural courses. The surroundings of ICAR are performed under the direction of the All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) and offer admissions in bachelor's level courses like B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc (Hons) Community Science, B.Sc (Hons) Forestry, B. Tech Food Technology, etc. Through this national-level exam, students get to understand the in-depth knowledge of agriculture and its related terms with a wide scope of information.
ICAR AIEEA 2022 Application Process
The conductive authority of ICAR AIEEA is organized by the premises of National Testing Agency. The application process for several bachelor's programs started on 20th July 2022, and will continue until 19th August 2022. The application fee for the program is ₹ 700 (for General/ OBC) and ₹ 350 (for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender). Students can submit their eligible entries for the course from the official website- www.nta.ac.in or www.ntaicar.nic.in.

ICAR AIEEA UG 2022 Exam Pattern
Eligible candidates who want to pursue agricultural courses must know the exam pattern of ICAR AIEEA UG entrance test before start preparing for the exam.
ICAR exam pattern is mentioned down below-
- The overall duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes and consists of questions in English and Hindi language.
- Sum total of 5 subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Agriculture will be asked in the exam, out of which students have to select only three subjects.
- 60 objective type questions will be asked from each subject. The total scores of the test will be 720 marks.
- For every correct answer, students will score +4, whereas, -1 will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
- No marks will be given if the aspirant is not attempted a question.
- If the student ticks more than one answer for a single question then an apprentice will get negative marking.
