On Monday (02nd November 2020), the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) on Monday invited online applications for the recruitment of Specialist Officers in participating organizations - (CRP SPL- X) on its official website. All the interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions online at ibps.in on or before 23rd November 2020.
This year, the recruitment drive is been conducted for the posts such as I.T. Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer in various banks such as Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Central Bank of India, UCO Bank, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of India, Indian Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Bank of Maharashtra.

IBPS SO Vacancy 2020
The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 647 vacancies of Specialist Officers, out of which, 20 vacancies are for IT Officer (Scale-1), 485 for Agricultural Field Officer (Scale-I), 25 for Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale-I), 50 for Law Officer (Scale-I), 60 for Marketing Officer (Scale-I), and 7 for Hr/Personnel Officer (Scale-I).
IBPS SO Recruitment 2020 – Criteria of Eligibility
Before applying for IBPS SO Recruitment 2020, candidates should fulfil all the required eligibility criteria.
Education Qualification –
- T. Officer (Scale-I) – 4 year Engineering/ Technology Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & 3 Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation OR b) Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications OR Graduate having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level.
- Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I) – 4 year Degree (graduation) in Agriculture/ Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agri. Marketing & Cooperation/ Co-operation & Banking/ Agro-Forestry/Forestry/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Food Science/ Agriculture Business Management/ Food Technology/ Dairy Technology/ Agricultural Engineering/ Sericulture.
- Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I) – Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level OR Post graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree (graduation) level.
- Law Officer (Scale I) – A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council.
- HR/Personn el Officer (Scale I) – Graduate and Two Years Full time Post Graduate degree or Two Years Full time Post Graduate diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HR / HRD/ Social Work / Labour Law.
- Marketing Officer (Scale I) – Graduate and Two Years Full time MMS (Marketing)/ Two Years Full time MBA (Marketing)/ Two Years Full time PGDBA / PGDBM/ PGPM/ PGDM with specialization in Marketing.
Nationality –
- Candidates must be a citizen of India.
- A resident of Bhutan or Nepal.
- A refugee from Tibet, who have migrated and intends to stay in India permanently.
- People of Indian origin who have migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Myanmar and East African countries with the intention of settling in India permanently.
Age Limit – The age of the applicant must range from anywhere between 20 to 30 years as on 26 November 2020.

- Now, go to the ‘New Registration’ tab and begin your registration process.
- Enter all the asked details such as Name, Address, Email ID, Mobile Number, Date of Birth and Gender, etc.
- Generate your login details and upload all the important documents.

- Start filling your application form and pay the examination fee by using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ Master Card/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
- For SC/ST/PWBD candidates the fee is ₹ 100, while for others ₹ 600 need to pay via online mode.
