GCET 2022 Application Form - Important Dates and Examination Centers
The application form for the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) is made available online at the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa. The application form is to be downloaded and filled out offline. Students are required to submit the filled-in application form at the designated centers in person. The application is to be submitted only at the center specified for the particular examination city as selected by the candidate. Passport-size photographs and other important documents are to be attached along with the application form. Important Things to Remember Before Filling the GCET 2022 Application Form
Here are some important points that candidates must keep in mind before filling out the GCET 2022 application form.
- Read the eligibility criteria carefully and make sure you fulfill the same.
- Read the instructions for filling out the application form.
- Make a fee payment and get the pay-in-slip.
- Keep three passport-size ready.
- Keep the self-attested photocopies of required documents ready - SSCE passing certificate and Class XII passing certificate/ HSSC examination hall ticket.
- A4 size bond paper for printing the application form.
How to Fill the GCET 2022 Application Form?
Students are required to download the GCET application form, fill it out offline, and submit it in person at the designated center. Here are the steps to be followed:

Downloading the Application Form
- Visit the official DTE Goa website - https://dte.goa.gov.in.
- Look for the ‘Admissions’ tab on the top of the home page.
- Expand the ‘Application Forms’ option in the drop-down and click on the ‘GCET Application Form’.
- The application form will appear.
- Download it and take a print on A4 size bond paper.
Paying Fee at HDFC Bank
- Make the application fee payment at any branch of HDFC bank in Goa remitted to the account of the “Directorate of Technical Education” with the provided client code. Students outside Goa can pay the fee through a demand draft drawn in favor of the “Directorate of Technical Education” payable at Panaji, Goa. The application fee amount is ₹ 2000/- for all category candidates.
- Keep the pay-in-slip safe.
Filling the Application Form
- Now fill out the application form using a blue/ black ballpoint pen. Enter the details in CAPITAL LETTERS avoiding mistakes. Do not overwrite.
- Candidates need to provide details such as the name of the candidate, gender, address, academic details, contact details, subjects appearing for, pay-in-slip details, and exam centers.
- Check all the details carefully.
Submitting the Form
Now submit the filled-in application form along with the self-attested documents and 3 passport-size colored photographs at the designated center. Candidates are encouraged to submit the application forms in-person as the admit card and acknowledgment slip is issued on submission of the application form. However, candidates can also send the application form along with the pay-in-slip, passport size photograph, and self-attested documents through the post. Make sure that the application form reaches the center before the last date. Admit cards to such candidates will be sent via post or email.
