Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) conducts the National Eligibility Test for determining the eligibility of Assistant Professor for Science stream subjects. CSIR NET Exam Pattern
The exam is conducted for the following subjects:
- Life Sciences
- Chemical Sciences
- Earth Sciences

There will be a single paper for each subject with a maximum of 200 marks. The paper will be divided into three parts – Part A, Part B, and Part C. Part A consists of questions on General Awareness while Part B and C consist of subject-related questions.
