Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) is conducted for determining the eligibility of the applicants for the post of Assistant Professors/ Lecturers in the state universities and colleges. Exam Pattern
APSET 2022 exam consists of two papers - Paper-I and Paper-II. Both the papers will be held in offline mode. Candidates are required to qualify for both papers in order to clear the APSET exam. The distribution of questions and marks is mentioned below:

Paper-I Pattern
The paper-I will have objective type questions from the following topics:
- Reasoning Ability
- Divergent Thinking
- Comprehension
- General Awareness
Paper-II Pattern
Objective type questions will be asked from respective subjects selected by the candidates. The question paper will be in the English language except for the Telugu, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Urdu papers.

APSET 2022 Eligibility
The most important thing before applying for an exam is to check the eligibility conditions. Candidates must make sure they are eligible for the exam before filling the application form. Here are the eligibility conditions:
Nationality
Only Indian citizens can apply for the exam.
Age Limit
There is no age limit for the exam. Any candidate who fulfils other conditions can apply for the exam.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants must have a Master's degree from a UGC-approved university with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC candidates).
- Those who are in the final year of the qualifying degree are also eligible to apply for the exam.
- Those who have completed their Ph.D and master’s degree examination in 1991 (irrespective of the result date) will get a 5% relaxation in the aggregate marks.
NOTE: Candidates must apply for their post-graduation subjects. However, if the subject is not listed in the list, they can apply for a related subject.
APSET 2022 Application Process
The application forms for the APSET 2022 exam are to be submitted through online mode. No other mode of application is accepted by the University. The application process will begin in August 2022 and will continue till October 2022. Here is the detailed process for application submission.

Steps for APSET 2022 Application Submission
- Visit the official website at https://apset.net.in/.
- Click on the link for APSET 2022 registration.
- Provide details such as applicant’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, category, gender, phone number, email ID, and password.
- Check the data carefully and submit the registration form.
- An email will be sent to your registered email ID with a login ID and password details.
- After successful registration, log in using the email ID and password.
- Provide educational details and other information.
- Upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, and category certificate.
- Check all the details carefully and submit the form.
- Make the application fee payment. The details are provided below.
- After successful fee payment, take a printout of the application form.

APSET 2022 Admit Card
- APSET 2022 admit card will be released online at the official website. Admit cards will not be issued through any other mode.
- The admit cards can be downloaded using the login credentials.
- The admit card will have details such as exam date, time, exam venue, roll number, exam day instructions, and more.
- Candidates are advised to check all the details carefully before downloading the hall ticket. Report the discrepancies (if any) in the admit card to the exam conducting authority.
APSET 2022 Answer Key
- APSET 2022 answer key will be released after the exam on the official website.
- The exam conducting authority will first release the provisional answer key and candidates will be provided with the option to raise objections against the answer key.
- After considering the objections raised by the candidates, the final answer key will be released.
- The result of the exam is announced based on the final answer key.
APSET 2022 Result
The APSET 2022 result will be released through the official website. Candidates can check their results using the login credentials and download the scorecard. The scorecard will have the details of marks obtained by the candidate in the exam. Qualified candidates can download their APSET qualifying certificate from the official website.
