Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) is a state-level entrance exam. The examination is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. The exam is conducted for admission to Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical courses offered by various government and private colleges in the state. - The application process will start in April 2023. 

- The Exam dates are announced MPC will be conducted between the 15th and 22nd of May 2023, and BPC will be conducted between the 23rd to 25th of May 2023.

Marking Scheme - 1 mark will be awarded for every correct response. There is no negative marking in the exam.

Medium - The question paper will be in English, Telugu, and Urdu (only at the Kurnool exam center) languages.

AP EAMCET Exam 2023 Eligibility

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance test AP EAMCET:

Nationality

  • Candidates must be Indian National or OCI/ PIO cardholders.
  • Candidates must be AP/ Telangana state resident and must satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements specified by AP/ Telangana educational institutions.

Domicile

Candidates must have a domicile of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.

For Engineering, B.Pharmacy, B.sc. (Agriculture), B.Tech. (Food Science and Technology), B.Tech. (Diary) -

Educational Requirements

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects or related vocational courses in Engineering and Technology conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, AP/ Telangana.

Those in the final year of the Diploma in Engineering or equivalent exam are also eligible for the exam.

Age Limit

For Engineering and Pharmacy courses, 16 years is the minimum age (calculated as of 31st December of the year of admission). There is no upper age limit.

For Pharma.D. Courses -

Educational Requirements

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects or related vocational courses in Pharmacy conducted by the AP/ Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training. Minimum aggregate marks in the qualifying exam should be 45% and a relaxation of 5% will be provided for reserved category candidates.

Age Limit

Candidates must have submitted 17 years (as of 31st December of the year of admission). No upper age limit.

AP EAMCET Exam 2023 Application Process

The AP EAMCET 2023 application forms were available on the official website. The exact date for the application process started will be in April 2023. Candidates must submit the application form within the given time. The application process is simple and can be completed using the following steps:

  • Application Fee Payment and Registration
  • Filling up the Application Form
  • Take a print of the completed application form

Application Fee Payment and Registration -

For filling out the AP EAMCET 2023 application form, candidates would first need to make the fee payment.

  • Visit the official website and click on the ‘Fee Payment’ link.
  • Enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, stream applying for, and other details asked for and click the ‘Initiate Payment’ button.
  • Make application fee payment. The application fee is ₹ 500 plus processing charges. The fee has to be paid online through net banking, debit/ credit cards or by cash at the AP & TS online centers.
  • After fee payment, click on the ‘Know Your Payment Status’ button to ensure that the fee has been paid successfully.

Filling up the AP EAMCET 2023 Application Form -

  • After successful fee payment, complete the application form.
  • Provide details such as your name, DoB,  category, gender, Parents’ name, communication address, educational details,  details related to the entrance exam, select language for the exam, etc.
  • Upload the scanned images of your photograph and signature in JPG format. The signature image must be less than 15KB and the photograph must be less than 30 KB.
  • Provide test center preference.
  • Once all the details are complete, ‘Submit’ the application form.

Take a Print of the Completed Application Form

  • Once the application is submitted successfully, the completed form will appear on the screen.
  • Take a print of the form for future references.

Correction in the Application Form -

Candidates are provided with the option to correct the details in the application form. The correction window opens after the application process gets over. Here are the details which can be corrected:

  • Year of passing the qualifying exam
  • Place of study
  • The medium of instruction in the qualifying exam
  • Address for correspondence
  • Aadhaar card details
  • Email ID and Mobile Number
  • Mother’s name
  • Gender
  • Community
  • Birth District, State
  • The annual income of parents

No correction will be allowed in the details viz. Name of the candidate, father’s name, DoB, signature, photograph, and stream of the qualifying examination. So, candidates must make sure that they fill in the details correctly for the first time only.

AP EAMCET Exam 2023 Other Details

AP EAMCET 2023 Admit Card

The AP EAMCET 2023 admit card was released on the official website. Candidates need to carry the admit card to the examination center. The admit card contains the exam date, venue for the exam, personal details, timings of the exam, and general instructions. Candidates who do not carry the admit card to the exam center will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates are advised to keep the admit card safe till the admission process gets over.

AP EAMCET 2023 Result

The AP EAMCET 2023 result will be available on the official website. Candidates can check the result using their registration IDs. Candidates can also download their rank cards a few days after the result is declared. The rank card comprises the candidate’s normalized marks scored in the AP EAMCET 2023 exam. 75% weightage is given to the entrance exam performance and 25% weightage is given to class 12th marks.

AP EAMCET Counselling 2023

Eligible candidates who get through the AP EAMCET 2023 exam will be called for the counselling process for admission to various courses. The counselling process will begin after the result declaration. The counselling is conducted as per the rank secured in the exam. The details of counselling, list of category-wise intakes, etc. will be uploaded to the official website. Candidates must visit the official website regularly for the latest updates.
